Don't you think I'm doing well ????

I have been blogging now for AGES !! far longer than any previous attempt and I am finding it all very amusing. Its pouring your diary out in public. Just as well its a sanitized version.

This weekend is a Bank Holiday weekend and I intend to make the most of it by rearranging my scrapping space. I have wire shelves that look cluttered and I need to address that. I think I might make 12 squares to hang in front of the open cubes and put my own works of art on them. I have two prepared already. That should unify the look. I also need to clear them out as stuff sticks out and will ruin the line.

I wish I was able to keep things looking nice like all these organised scrapping ladies but I find it an ongoing struggle. I hope to have cracked it this weekend !!

Beautiful Sunny Day....

Today has been quite a beautiful one, with the last of the blossom putting in an appearance. We have a couple of trees in the close and the sun has finally bought out the last one. The sad thing is that a puff of wind and it will be all gone. We still have the lilac tree to come and then all the summer for the roses.

The back garden is going to be a bit of a problem this year as most of it will be covered by the trampoline, I am hoping that we will at least get some flowers to brighten the place.

Today at work has been a pain, a lot to do, a report that I put in was wrong , I got the wrong end of the stick and as a result I have to do it all again.

Got Some photos back today from Snapfish!!

I have got to the point where I have run out of photos to scrap, what a terrible position to be in!! I don't seem to be able to scrap 'old' photos. I enjoy scrapping bang up to date snaps.

During the Easter holidays I have a few days off work and took the kids out on a few trips. Beth decided that she wanted to do a work of art for her bedroom wall. She used her paints and made a winderful handprints picture, with loads of glitter . I had to take the chance to do a few photos.

The best bit is I now have some lovely shiny new photos to get to grips with!!

You just can't get the service anymore !!

The trampoline that arrived on Saturday was supplied with the wrong size 'free' cover. So I have called to advise them, from the conversation on the phone they sent quite a few out with the wrong size cover. We have opened ours up so that we could check the size and to hopefully use it. Sadly they never fold up to the same small size.
Now the company said we should have it available to be collected one day next week!! Great as we work all day !! Its not our fault the wrong size was supplied !!
Give me strength!

I am now getting used to the rhythmic squeaking of 58 steel springs everytime there is a child home from school and the weather is dry enough!!

Clare did it again !!

Thank you Clare for getting me sorted yet again. I was unable to get the slider to work and she stepped in and sorted it out all for the offer of a Holographic green wheelbarrow!! What a star, what a gal!! I really am grateful for her crash course in tampering with templates.

Well it was back to work today, they day flew by and before I knew it, it was time to finish I had been busy all day but I don't feel like I have done too much..

Tonight I spoke to Mum and Dad and they have not had a good day. Dad is very tired and has been suffering from a pain in his tummy. The Doctor came out this morning and said that he thought it might be something to do with his bowels again. So more medicine to try and keep things moving. Mums legs are playing up again and the Docter saw her as well, Tom got her prescription filled. I hope things pick up for them soon.

The trampoline has been in use again, with Brogan from next door having a go. Tracey and Clive next door have told us that they are putting their house on the market, which is quite sad, they have been great neighbours for the past 14 years ! Beth will miss Brogan and Lewis.

I have tried again with no luck.....

This blinking slider thing is becoming a little bit of a nuisance. I have got one set up and I would love to be able to get it to work but it appears I am unfit to embed it !!

I may have to chat a few people up, watch this space !

Lazy Sunday......

We got up this morning to pouring rain, which has cramped the trampoliners style !!

Last night when we tried to put the cover on it we couldn't get it to fit. Carl and I tried to stretch it over the top but it was having none of it!!

We went out again and tried, this time contending with all the water that had collected on top of it over night. Again with no luck, so we have concluded that they have sent us the wrong size. I have emailed the company this morning and will have to wait and see what happens.

Today I must try and do something creative. I have a few projects I could do, but have not got started on any of them. We are going out for dinner at Mum and Dads, we are cooking the roast potatoes!!

I want to be able to do things with this blog, but I am really a clutz and I am struggling to make the changes that I want to, I am hoping Clare will give me a hand!!

Look !!!

Guess what we got today ?? A 10ft trampoline that has taken over the whole garden! The kids have been on it since it arrived at around 4pm. Infact ALL the kids in the neighbourhood have been on it ! £139 its sturdy and will get a load of action this summer.

Tonight Hannah is sleeping over so she is out there as well. I have managed to get a load of action shots, I am going to get some more once its dark, I think they should look good against a black sky!!

Today has been a nice relaxing one.......so far. I collecetd Beth at lunch time, she had a blast at her sleepover and wants to do more !! She has agreed to go on holiday with school, so its a big relief all round.

I love to scrapbook and last months Creating Keepsakes had a self portrait article. I hate having my photo taken, so I bit the bullet and tried a few self portraits.

I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I photoshopped quite a few of them but basically its me !! So here we are with a blog and the only photos so far are of me!! How vain is that ???

The weather is beautiful, so I am going to go out and take some spring flower shots.

Yesterday I bought a beautiful little 50's record case from the charity shop. Its burgundy and cream, with a lock and loads of top stitching. I have that earmarked for my ink pads.

Well as I said I am going to have another go at this Blogging business. I don't think that I have too much to say , so I am going to use it as an online diary.

Today did not get off to a good start, overnight I was unwell, popping in and out of the loo with a dodgy tummy.

I was not looking froward to work, as I knew that we had a very contentious meeting and I was not feeling at the top of my game. In the end it went reasonably well.

Late afternoon and I popped out to get baskets of fruit for the staff at the QVM. The shop at Woodhall always does a good basket!! Tom and I delivered them on dads behalf. While at the hospital we collected our raffle prizes. It was amazing we bought 5 tickets and won 4 prizes!!

Tonight is also a bit of a milestone. Beth is sleeping over at Emmas, not such a big thing except Beth has never slept over anywhere before. This has caused her a few problems. She is too worried about sleeping over to go on the school trip. So we are hoping that tonight she will stay, if she does she has agreed to go on the school trip. Fingers Crossed !!

I am trying again.

I would really like to be able to do blogs but I just don't 'Get it' I start a blog and then I can't seem to finish it, or upload anything interesting to it.

I don't get it !!
