Doing well.....
Tonight we visited mum and found that she was much brighter, she walked down to physio with a zimmer frame and came back with just her sticks. She has now managed to get out of bed by herself. True progress. She is also back to normal mentally (whatever that means!!)

Glad your Mum is doing better. I remember when my Mum had her hip op a couple of years ago she had awful pain with it and was exactly the same with the meds all over the place but you'd be surprised how quickly they recover once they start making progress at all. Give her a week and I'm sure you'll see a massive difference.
So, she's as daft as her daughter again then?
